All our puppies are sold as pets and come with limited AKC registration. You will receive the paperwork to register your puppy with AKC 

We do not require the buyer to spay or neuter their puppy, but we do strongly recommend not doing so before the puppy is 24 months of age. Studies show that spaying or neutering prior to 24 months of age can greatly increase the risk of health issues as well as dysplasia. Spay and neuter research shows that in the labrador retriever breed it is preferable to wait until she has had at least one heat cycle and her body especially her bones have matured in place. 

All Chestnut Hill Labradors female breeding stock including all studs that are used are screeded for the following:  

• OFA Hips and elbows, eyes and heart 

• Genetic testing done for EIC, PRA, CNM, HPNH, and are color dilute 

If within 1 year your dog is diagnosed with hip dysplasia with a sever rating by OFA we will refund you the original purchase price or replace the puppy. The dog must not have been bred abused or injured for this contract to be valid. 

We will not honor this contract if the dog has been in an accident or comes down with any illness. It is the owner’s responsibility to vaccinate and care for your dog.  

I understand that my initial deposit to hold a puppy on an existing litter is non-refundable. 

Due to the risks of personal checks, we will only accept cash or a treasures check from a valid NH bank. 

If you can no longer keep your dog, we should be notified as we may be able to help find a new home. (original buyer only)
